Re: Continuing Operations during Coronavirus Crisis
Please be advised that our office will remain open during the crisis assisting our clients with their legal needs. More specifically, staff will be in attendance at the office but it will be closed to the public save for couriers and essential services to our office. The decision regarding keeping the office open is subject to review depending on circumstances as they evolve. But you may be assured that we will continue to service your needs even if our physical office closes the doors due to the virus.
Clients will be serviced through our remote legal services program. This program will allow myself and our experienced and competent staff to serve you through the use of Internet and cloud-based client servicing software.
Provided our client either owns or has access to a computer terminal, laptop, or tablet, iPad, or even a smart phone, we will be able to send you documentation, explain it to you via live feeds, and attend upon your signature to all documents including the swearing of affidavits and declarations.
This capability will ensure the health and safety of not only our staff but also you, the client. Provincial and federal authorities have made it clear that during this challenging time, social distancing and quarantining is not only necessary but vital in combating the virus.
So we wish to assure you that your legal needs will be met in every respect, without any prejudice to your business and personal interests.
One of my staff will be in touch with you with respect to any current file we are handling on your behalf to explain and provide details.
We look forward to working with you along with all other Canadians in combating this challenge which will be overcome by good old-fashioned Canadian values including looking out for one's neighbours and cooperation towards the common goal.
